Dominican Republic's best new export, Vicente García, partnered with renowned Puerto Rican reggae band Cultura Profética to produce a brand new version of Vicente's latest hit single "Mi Balcón". The musicians gathered at Playbach Studios in San Juan to arrange and record this groovy version, available now on digital format.

"Cultura is a band that I've known for many years and one that I admire greatly, I've had the privilege to share the stage with them several times in Santo Domingo. We created a perfect balance between the original elements of the song and their unique style. Working with Cultura Profética was like a workshop, it was very enlightening", commented Garcia.

The lead singer and bass player of Cultura Profética, Willy Rodriguez, mentioned that working with Vicente was a very easy-going experience since they all share similar musical tastes.   "It's difficult to arrange something that it's already good, but we trusted our instincts and created a fine reggae version of this soulful song", added Willy.

Vicente Garcia, who is currently featured on HTV's En La Mira, recently shared stage with Shakira during the Pop Festival celebrated in Santo Domingo at the Estadio Olimpico. Vicente will be a part of a showcase sponsored by BMI on April 27th at the Gibson Showroom in Miami.
