Premiere singer songwriter FERNANDA ULIBARRI’s  debut single video “Se Satura Mi Cabeza”off forthcoming debut solo album “átOma”on L.A. based Cosmica Records.

The first single from her debut solo album titled “átOma” demonstrates her unique sound as she leaves the technology behind, crafting a beautifully organic record.

“Se Satura Mi Cabeza” is a song about overwhelming media saturation and that feeling of helplessness amid societal issues. There’s a poppy head banging quality to the song that makes it quite likable and listenable, coupled with Ulíbarri’s yelpy yet honeyed voice.”

Earlier this year “Se Satura Mi Cabeza” was selected as the “Pick of the Week” at Starbucks Mexico.

Fernanda Ulibarri shares with us her thoughts on the video:
“This is an intense song and somehow I wanted to keep the intensity but also bring cuteness to it.  Speaking back and forth with directors Jesus “El Pelos” Olvera and Jesús Jimenez, we decided to do the video as if it was a TV Show from the 1950s. Where they present different acts all shot on one stage. I pictured red as the color of this song, so we chose a bright shiny red as the backdrop for our acts, inspired by David Lynch Twin Peaks. Our “acts” in the video include actors showing how their lives are fed from a TV, and how they believe 100% of what they see and hear from it. The two girls in white symbolize the newscasters feeding us wrong and alarmist information with a fake smile. And featuring part of my band shows the kind of instruments I’m using for this project.”

Congrats to Fernanda! We heard the song and we think she is beyond talented!
