Jotdog Receives a Nomination for the XIII Latin Grammy

Two-time Latin Grammy nominee pop Mexican duo JOTDOG, formed by singer-songwriters Jorge 'La Chiquis' Amaro and Maria Barracuda, have been nominated in the category of Best Pop Rock Album for "Turista Del Amor". With them are nominated: Vega, Los Claxons, El Cuarteto De nos, and Leiva.

Maria BarracudaJotdog's vocalist joined other Latin music artists this morning during the nominations held at the Belasco Theater, in Los Angeles, CA.

Their music style is defined as melodic electronic pop with surreal messages that leave a festive atmosphere, with smart, clear and urban lyrics. Their music videos are a visual image of their sinister pop sound and endless creativity.

Their most recent release: Jotdog 2 Turista del Amor has grant them 5 number 1 singles on the Mexican radio charts and has currently positioned the duo among the hottest up and coming bands.

The XIII edition of the Latin Grammy's will be held at the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas on November 15, 2012, and will be broadcasted on the Univision Network.
