Levo, the "largest and fastest-growing professional network for millennials in the workplace" has partnered with Pantene, Olay and COVERGIRL to launch Make a Power Move. Their motto: "To inspire you to take charge of your career ambitions."

Entertainment Affair was invited to their most recent event at Siren Studios, Hollywood where women were given makeovers and the opportunity to get their questions answered by a panel of top female leaders. They shared career advice and an important rule, style and beauty should not be put to rest as you seek your goals and pursue your ambitions.

I got to know more of Irma Martinez, a highly distinguished and respected Latina celebrity stylist in the US Hispanic and Latin American markets. Martinez, from Colombia, revealed her first big celebrity name was Shakira. Irma also shared some inspiring tips on confidence as it goes hand in hand with a powerful vision.

Entertainment Affair: What have you found that has worked for you in becoming a successful entrepreneur that you can share with other women?
Irma Martinez: It's not the most important and I don't feel you have to spend a lot of money in looking good. But it is part of who you are. Why? Because an image says more than a thousand words. You go into a room and without speaking, people are looking at you... Looking good gives you security.

Especially now with this program Make a Power Move. Women want to be independent. We want to wear all the hats; we want to be businesswomen, we want a husband, we want to have kids, we want to have our friends. So that dynamic that the modern woman has, which I love and you have to learn to manage it all. Part of that success is to feel comfortable and confident with yourself... It doesn't have to be fancy, but look groomed. That you look put together. That gives you the security to conquer the world.

EA: What is an important characteristic you look for and believe to be a must have?
IM: I really like individuality. I like people who bring something new to the table. In fact, in my company there are chicas from 20 years of age all the way to 55. And the dressmaker is 87!

EA: Reality and what the media project can be over dramatized, what is some helpful advice to younger women on not allowing vanity to affect them negatively?
IM: As a stylist, I advise them to not allow themselves to be handled by friends. Don't give into pressure. Don't go by fashion, because it goes by really fast. Fashion comes and goes. I have a 21-year-old daughter and I tell her, "Look, you always have to look good because you have to look presentable... but it cannot be an obsession.” You can't obsess over it. Everything has its limits and if you cross the limits it gets out of control.
