by EAStaff | July 27, 2018

Today marks the premiere of the music video for “Calma,” the latest single by the Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Pedro Capó.

Directed by the Puerto Rican actor and screenwriter Israel Lugo (Calle 13, Cultura Profética, Paulina Rubio, Luis Fonsi), and produced by La Tara, the music video of “Calma” was filmed on the mountains and beaches of Cabo Rojo in the island’s west. This area is known for its crystal clear beaches and gorgeous sunsets. Starring in this video is the Puerto Rican model Tatiana Delgado, who is one of Ricky Martin’s dancers and a former finalist on Nuestra Belleza Latina.

Since its release last week, the audio of “Calma” has become one of Pedro Capó’s fastest-rising hits. Thousands of fans have uploaded videos of themselves singing along to “Calma” on social media, and it has been added to the Latin Pop Rising playlists of influential streaming services.

Fans, the music press, and influencers in Puerto Rico and Latin America got together at Piñones, Puerto Rico’s cozy Waterfront eatery to celebrate the video release of “Calma” with a concert by Pedro and his band. This event was streamed on his social media channels and by various influencers.
