Nissan and Univision Renew Partnership for the “Road to Innovation” Tour

Nissan and Univision announced their continued partnership for the live concert tour – Nissan Presents: Road to Innovation Tour – featuring a series of performances headlined by Latin GRAMMY® nominee Karol G with special guest Colombian artist Reykon. Heading into its fourth year, the tour expands to Houston, as the ninth city in the Road to Innovation Tour. The partnership will continue to leverage Univision local media’s cross-platform portfolio to promote and deliver unique VIP consumer experiences throughout October and early November. In addition, Nissan’s multiplatform program will once again be integrated into Univision’s annual broadcast of The Biggest Night in Latin Music®, as an official sponsor of the 19th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards®.

The Road to Innovation Tour is headlined by chart-topping artists Karol G and Reykon and includes nine cities from October 23 through November 13. The tour kicks off in New York, then heads to Miami, Washington D.C., Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Dallas, Phoenix, and concludes in Las Vegas. Separate to The Road to Innovation Tour, Nissan will host a 360◦ promotional campaign that will encourage consumers to participate in a sweepstakes, sponsored by Nissan, for the opportunity to attend the 19th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards live in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 15, 2018.

The tour will have a complete branded experience with all DJ sets and refreshment areas branded with the names of Nissan vehicles. Additionally, Nissan and Univision brand ambassadors and influencers will be stationed throughout the concert arena for increased engagement and data capture via one-on-one interactions with concert-goers. Both Nissan campaigns will be supported by a combination of television, radio and digital spots via Univision properties, local crew remotes and on-site activities and promotions. Additionally, there will be an original Facebook video series featuring popular social influencers driving a Nissan vehicle while listening to their favorite tunes.
