One of AXE’s “Solamente Una Noche” (One Night Only) concert was held at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV on November, 9, 2010. Wisin y Yandel, a reggaeton duo, led the concert with some of their most played songs. The event consisted of a red carpet event where many celebrities showed up to support their friends Wisin y Yandel. Prince Royce, Chino y Nacho, Sohenny, Vinoleversus, Rosario Flores, and Adammo, were some of the attending celebrities of this fabulous event.

Chino y Nacho were the first to appear on the red carpet!!! With their unique and chic style, the duo made their rounds posing for photos and answering media questions. In one of the many questions, Chino was asked about his romance with Ana Isabelle, who is also a singer. According to our “Nina Bonita” artist, Ana Isabelle, “Es una persona maravillosa y muy bonita”. Which means, for you non Spanish speaker, that Ana Isabelle is a wonderful and beautiful person! Chino y Nacho attended the event to support their friends, Wisin y Yandel. Chino y Nacho spoke very highly of the duo by indicating the following, “Son muy Buenos amigos y personas de familia” (They are great friends and family oriented men). Chino y Nacho are nominated for a Latin Grammy under the category Best Urban Album for their song “Mi Nina Bonita” and will be performing at the Latin Grammys. The artists have already rehearsed for the event and are super excited to attend.

Another celebrity who attended the AXE Music red carpet event was Sohanny. The beautiful Dominican native, raised in the US, is working on her album which will consist of tropical songs. The album will be a combination of bachata, tropical, and merengue styles. As stated by Sohanny, keeping the essence of merengue is important to her because of her Dominican heritage. She is very happy about this album and will be flying out to Puerto Rico to continue working on the project. Some artists who will assist Sohanny in this project will be Ricky Pena and Mambo Kings.

Adammo, a Peruvian rock group, also attended the AXE Music red carpet. The group is also nominated for a Latin Grammy under the category of musical video of the year for their song: “Algun Dia“. Adammo is very happy to be in Las Vegas, NV celebrating their nomination. This year they will continue to work on their album, Amber, which has 11 songs. One of their singles was released in Peru and Chile. They will also release a limited edition of their CD which includes a surprise for their fans! They also have plans of moving to Mexico to continue furthering their music career. The group consists of four members who love what they do and are currently at the climax of their career. They will begin their Latin America tour very shortly. We wish them the best of luck!!!

One of the nights most adored at the red carpet was Prince Royce. Prince Royce captured the eyes of all the media with his down to earth attitude. Prince was excited to share that he just turned 21 and will do Vegas right, how exciting! Prince Royce is nominated for a Latin Grammy for his song, “Stand by Me“. He was also selected as one of the performers of the event. Prince Royce still cannot grasp the idea that he is nominated for the Latin Grammy because of all his struggles while trying to pursue his music career. He even told us that he invested $6,000, pre-success, on his demo in order to further his career. According to Prince Royce, all of his family and friends thought he was crazy, however; all his hard work definitely paid off.
