According to, People En Espanol, the talented singer, Shakira, will release a children's book titled, "Dora the Explorer: World School Adventure Day". The characters Dora, Boots, and Shakira celebrate "World School Day" around different schools throughout the world. Their mission is to help students find the needed materials for the schools. The portion of the book's proceeds will go to Shakira's non profit organization, The Barefoot Foundation, which benefits childhood education. The book will be available in Spanish and English and can be found at major retailers for about 16.99. The beautiful Shakira was very excited to work on this project and stated,

“Dora is an inspiration for all children in the world. It was an honor working with Nickelodeon to write this story as education is a cause very close to my heart,”
