The world’s most successful urban duo maintain their record for the most #1’s singles by a duo or group on Billboard’s “Hot Latin Songs” as “Tu Olor” becomes Wisin & Yandel’s eighth track to top the chart. The single is also #1 on Billboard’s “Latin Rhythm Airplay” and “Tropical Airplay” charts. Billboard recently announced that Wisin & Yandel has had 18 singles on the top ten of the magazines Hot Latin Songs chart.

“We feel so blessed with the success of our latest album, we  work hard to create music that our fans will love and having a song be number one on the charts is a bonus. We are very lucky to have an amazing team at WY Records who works tirelessly day and night in support of our records, without them this type of accomplishments wouldn’t be possible,” said Wisin & Yandel.

Wisin & Yandel have had a successful 2011 thus far in addition to the number one single they recently received two nominations for the 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards for Best Urban Music Album for Los Vaqueros…El Regreso and Best Urban Song for “Estoy Enamorado”. The GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winners are preparing to wrap up their 2011 concert tour in Honduras, Brazil, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico and will start recording their new album set for release in early 2012.
