Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2010, Mariana Vicente, takes a break from her projects in the city of Los Angeles and returns to her island to participate as host on the main night of the local competition.

"I am excited to return to my island and even more to be part of the final competition of Miss Universe Puerto Rico, this event was a unique experience for me that helped me grow both in my personal and professional life." Vicente said.

During the months she has been away from the Island, Mariana has participated in numerous projects including international advertising campaigns for brands like Sony, Wet n 'Wild and Samsung, collaborating as a producer in the micro-series 'La Agencia' and her work as a correspondent for celebrity page Entertainment Affair.

Mariana will share hosting duties with Alexandra Fuentes, while Raymond Arrieta will do the same on the main stage. The lineup of musical performances include urban artist of the decade Daddy Yankee, Christian Daniel and Fanny Lu.

The Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2012 final competition will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 and will be broadcast live from the Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce, Puerto Rico at 7:00 pm on Telemundo.
