Telehit, part of Univision Networks, and the leading Latin urban and lifestyle channel with music, live concerts, celebrity interviews, news, variety and comedy sketch shows presents its fourth annual “Premios Telehit 2011,” honoring some of the hottest artists in the international music scene. Hosted by the Telehit Video Jockeys, the show kicks off live from Acapulco, Mexico with a spectacular two-hour red carpet pre-show full of exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes coverage.

The powerhouse roster of nominees includes teen sensations Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato for Best International Young Artist. Latin music icons, Chayanne, Ricky Martin and Shakira are nominated for Most Important International Artist. Also vying for the award of Most Popular Artist on Telehit are, Camila, Gloria Trevi and Pitbull (Mr. Worldwide). Other categories include Best Alternative Band, Best International Artist, Best Rock Album, International Album of the Year, Best International Pop Tours and many others.

The award show show will turn up the heat with an unparalleled lineup of artists attending including Simple Plan, Joe Jonas, Camila, Molotov, Maria Jose, Belanova, Kinky, Jesse & Joy, Reik, Caifanes, Maná and Gloria Trevi.

“Premios Telehit 2011” gathers the hottest stars in international music all in one place. Don’t miss a minute of the red carpet fanfare beginning at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT/ 4 p.m. PT followed by the awards show at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT/ 6 p.m. PT on Thursday, November 17.
