'Macho' Camacho To Be Honored In Las Vegas

The World Boxing Council will be honoring champion fighter, Hector 'Macho' Camacho during its 49th annual convention, which will mark the first pass in its 50th anniversary celebration. The convention will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino December 11th thru the 17th.

'Macho' Camacho won the championship title 10 times in 7 different categories. He is most famously remembered for his 1997 knockout of opponent Sugar Ray Leonard. Camacho is most recognized for his speed as a boxer and his flamboyant showmanship and style.
