Univision Network today announced the schedule of its multi-city national auditions tour for the sixth season of its popular reality show, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty). Beginning Thursday, December 1, 2011 through Wednesday, February 1, 2012, the show’s beloved host Giselle Blondet and reining fifth season winner Nastassja Bolivar will join the tour to invite young hopefuls to audition for a chance to win the coveted title of “Nuestra Belleza Latina 2012.” Auditions will kick off on Thursday, December 1 in Miami at Greenwich Studios in North Miami, FL.

Returning for its sixth installment, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” will deliver a full force of entertainment by mixing the thrills of reality television with the glitz and glamour of beauty competitions. The program will showcase talented young Latinas from across the country that compete in an all-around battle beauty royal, enduring grueling mental and physical challenges for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win the crown and become “Nuestra Belleza Latina.”

Once auditions conclude, a selected group of young women will compete for the title of “Nuestra Belleza Latina 2012,” where viewers will decide the fate of the 12 lucky finalists to move into the “Nuestra Belleza Latina” mansion in Miami, and vie for a one-of-a-kind opportunity: an exclusive contract as Univision’s newest on-air personality and a $250,000 in cash and prizes.

Hosted by Giselle Blondet, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” looks for the country’s most charming, intelligent and enchanting Hispanic women in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.  Contestants will participate in a series of challenges in front of a live studio audience every week that will test their determination and character. The participants will work with leading entertainment and beauty industry experts who will help them master their runway walks, offer guidance on fashion and unique make-up techniques, perfect presentation and dancing skills, as well as provide other advice to deliver a flawless performance.

Renowned beauty coach Osmel Sousa, who also is president of Miss Venezuela and recently won Miss World 2011, Mexico’s former Miss Universe,Lupita Jones, and heartthrob from Univision’s hit novela “Eva Luna,” Julian Gil return as the panel of judges who, along with viewer participation, will determine the finalists. In the grand finale, the contestant with the most votes from viewers will be crowned “Nuestra Belleza Latina 2012.”

Participants must be females between 18 to 27 years old the day of audition, fluent in Spanish and, if chosen as a finalist, must be available to reside in Miami during the length of their participation in the program. Users will be able to submit their own audition videos to the online virtual casting from December 1 to February 3. The top two finalists will get the chance to participate in the call back rounds in Miami.
