by EAStaff | December 16, 2011

Karla Martinez and Poncho de Anda hosts of the morning show, Despierta America hosted a special advance screening of the upcoming film ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: CHIPWRECKED for children from the non-for profit organization Youth Co-Op. This is the third installment of the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise from 20th Century Fox and will hit theaters this Friday, December 16, 2011.

More than 60 children from Youth Co-Op met the famous Chipmunks: Alvin, Simon and Theodore, who presented the film and posed for photos at the Cobb theater at Dolphin Mall (Miami, FL). Everyone was thrilled to see Alvin, Simon and Theodore in person and share in this memorable holiday experience.

About ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: CHIPWRECKED
On vacation aboard a luxury cruise ship, Alvin, Simon, Theodore and the Chipettes are up to their usual antics, turning the ship into their personal playground, until they become ‘chipwrecked’ on a desert island. As Dave Seville frantically searches for his AWOL charges, the ‘Munks and Chipettes’ do what they do best – sing, dance and wreak havoc. But they’re in for the biggest surprises and lessons of their lives when they embark on an island adventure with their new friend – a castaway who’s more than a match for Alvin and the Chipmunks.
