Francisca Valenzuela Premieres "En Mi Memoria" (In My Memory) Video

Francisca Valenzuela officially unveils her latest video, "En Mi Memoria" (In My Memory) in the U.S. online on MTV Iggy. The video is the new single from her most recent album, "Buen Soldado" (Good Soldier).

The video was filmed in Chile and directed by Francisca Alegría. With its mystical tone, the film embodies the bittersweet memory of a loved one who is now gone.

2011 has been a successful year for Valenzuela who in the past year has participated in several international festivals including her U.S. debut in March at SXSW music festival. Valenzuela also had the opportunity to perform at the famous festival, Austin City Limits in September after a successful mini tour in California and New York.

In Latin America she performed at Personal Fest in Argentina alongside The Strokes, The Kills and other international artists. The year also presented Valenzuela with the opportunity to share the stage with international rock artists such as Bono with whom she performed U2's hit, One Tree Hill in Santiago, Chile alongside the legendary group.  The artist also performed at the Cannes Film Festival in France; at Lollapalooza during the first international version of the festival in Santiago and at Shakira's Popfest.

Most recently the album, 'Buen Soldado' (Good Soldier) was released in México, Chile, Argentina and will be available in Spain in March 2012. "Buen Soldado" (Good Soldier) is now available in the U.S. in digital format on iTunes and Amazon.

The album includes 12 songs written by Francisca Valenzuela and was produced by Vicente Sanfuentes (Sr.Coconut, Gepe, Matias Aguayo), Mocky (Feist, Jamie Lidell) and Valenzuela. The tracks range from pop rock on piano, to jazz and accentuated with folk accents in her music. The album includes songs about social criticism and political commentary, love and heartbreak, and reflections of her own personal intimate stories.
