Apple TV+ and NHMC Celebrate LatinX Talent at Star-Studded Event
In a vibrant celebration of LatinX excellence in television, Apple TV+, in partnership with the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC), hosted an unforgettable evening honoring the creative contributions of LatinX talent both in front of and behind the camera. Held at Apple's Emmy House on May 5, the event brought together industry professionals, Imagen Awards voters, and NHMC members for an inspiring night of conversation and culture.
The evening featured a dynamic panel highlighting influential voices shaping the future of television, including Actors John Ortiz (Bad Monkey, Government Cheese), Jeanine Mason (WondLa), Camila Perez (Acapulco) and Renata Vaca (Midnight Family), Director Roxann Dawson (Dark Matter), Music Editor Lorena Perez Batista (The Studio) and Head of Department, Hair George Guzman (Shrinking).
The panel was expertly moderated by Brenda Castillo, President & CEO of NHMC, who led a thoughtful discussion on representation, visibility, and the power of authentic storytelling.
