“Predator: Badlands” Wows Comic-Con Fans with Early Footage and Epic Reveal

Cast and filmmakers from 20th Century Studios’ “Predator: Badlands” took over Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 for a special panel moderated by filmmaker Kevin Smith.
The panel featured stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, alongside director/producer Dan Trachtenberg, who were welcomed by more than 6,500 fans—many donning Predator masks. The excitement peaked when a 7-foot-tall real-life Predator descended upon Hall H and used its heat signature abilities to scope the room, zeroing in on Smith.

A dynamic Q&A followed, diving into the film’s themes and design process, with legendary creature designer Alec Gillis offering insights on the franchise’s evolution and the recent animated project “Predator: Killer of Killers.” Trachtenberg surprised fans with an exclusive reveal of that film’s alternate ending, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover, reprising their iconic roles in a jaw-dropping moment. The new extended ending of “Predator: Killer of Killers” is now available exclusively on Hulu.
The panel concluded with an exclusive screening of the first 15 minutes of Predator: Badlands. Before exiting Hall H, fans posed for selfies with Smith, the cast, and filmmakers—all in Predator masks—and received a limited-edition SDCC “Predator: Badlands” poster as a commemorative gift.
“Predator: Badlands” opens exclusively in theaters November 7, 2025.
