by EAStaff | August 22, 2025

Premios Juventud announced the nominees for its 22nd annual awards show, set to take place September 25 at the Figali Convention Center in Panama City. For the first time in its history, the celebration will be held outside the United States, honoring Hispanic Heritage Month in one of Latin America’s most vibrant countries. The event will air live on Univision, UniMás, Galavisión, and ViX at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.

Bad Bunny and Danny Ocean top the list with six nominations each. Close behind are Anitta, Beéle, Carín León, Emilia, Myke Towers, Netón Vega, and Peso Pluma, each with five nominations. The multifaceted Clarissa Molina has been confirmed as the first host, with additional names to be announced in the coming weeks.

Under the theme “Evolucionando al ritmo de la música,” the 2025 edition reflects the diverse interests of today’s youth across music, television, social media, and pop culture. A total of 231 artists are nominated across 41 categories, including 30 in music, three in TV & streaming, and eight in social media.

This year introduces eight new categories, among them Mejor Canción Música Mexicana Alternativa, Mejor Canción Pop/Rhythmic, and Afrobeat Latino del Año, alongside new recognitions for digital creators such as Podcast del Año, #GettingReadyWith, Stream Que Nos Pegó, #ModoAvión, and POVFutbolero. The expansion doubles the number of categories honoring social media talent from four to eight.

Winners will be determined entirely by fan vote. Voting is now open at PremiosJuventud.com and will remain available through September 1.
