‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Sing-Along Event Is Headed to Theaters

Calling all KPop Demon Hunters fans: your chance to seal the Honmoon in person has arrived.

For one weekend only, August 23 and 24, KPop Demon Hunters: A Sing-Along Event will hit theaters across the US and Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Fans of Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong), Zoey (Ji-young Yoo), and the rest of the HUNTR/X and Saja Boys can gather to sing along with the global hit. Tickets are on sale now, with full theater listings and showtimes available through regional links.

The animated phenomenon from Sony Pictures Animation (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Mitchells vs. The Machines) is directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, with a voice cast including Arden Cho, May Hong, Ji-young Yoo, Ahn Hyo-seop, Yunjin Kim, Joel Kim Booster, Liza Koshy, Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong, and Byung Hun Lee.

Since its June 20 release, the film has become Netflix’s most-watched animated title ever, drawing more than 180 million views and climbing to second place among the streamer’s most popular English-language films. Its soundtrack has been just as dominant, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and surpassing 3 billion global streams.

Featuring original songs by EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI, Andrew Choi, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, samUIL Lee, Neckwav, and Lea Salonga, the soundtrack also boasts producers TEDDY, 24, IDO, DOMINSUK, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, and Ian Eisendrath, with Marcelo Zarvos contributing the original score.

KPop Demon Hunters is now streaming on Netflix.
