London Thor Breaks Down Jordan Li’s Evolution in “Gen V” Season 2

by EAStaff | September 18, 2025

Class is back in session at Godolkin University, and Gen V is raising the stakes in its second season. With new dangers on campus, a mysterious Dean pushing students to their limits, and a brewing war between humans and supes, survival is the ultimate test. Among the standout characters once again is Jordan Li, brought to life by both London Thor and Derek Luh.

In our conversation, Thor shared what excites her most about the new season. “There’s so much more action this time—we got to work with the amazing stunt coordinator John Quoyama—but what I really love is diving deeper into the characters, both old and new.”

Playing Jordan alongside Luh could have been complicated, but Thor says the process was surprisingly natural. “We wanted Jordan to feel like two sides of the same coin. Instead of imitating each other, we trusted each other and made sure the emotional beats connected. It’s such a rare and special role to play.”

Thor also opened up about Jordan’s evolving relationship with Marie (Jaz Sinclair). “They’re coming out of this impossible experience and learning how to trust again. There’s distance, but also a real pull to be together. It creates a lot of tension that leads to interesting scenarios.”

Representation remains a core part of what makes Gen V resonate. “Being Asian-American and getting to play a lead role without stereotypes is really meaningful,” Thor explained. “What I love about this universe is that diversity feels natural—we’re just humans, and yet we’re still representing who we are.”

The season also carries an emotional weight following the passing of Chance Perdomo, who played Andre Anderson. “The writers did a fantastic job keeping Andre—and therefore Chance—present throughout Season 2. The whole season is for Chance, and we all felt that in our work,” Thor said.

With more action, deeper character arcs, and a heartfelt tribute to a beloved co-star, Gen V Season 2 is set to be both thrilling and emotional. The first three episodes are streaming now on Prime Video, with new episodes dropping weekly through October 22.
