Amazon Music Kicks Off GRAMMY Week With Star-Studded Party in LA

by EAStaff | January 28, 2026

Amazon Music Lot Party 2026 officially kicked off GRAMMY Week in Los Angeles with a high-energy celebration at Culver Studios on Tuesday night (January 27), bringing together artists, creators, and industry insiders for an early-evening takeover ahead of Sunday’s awards.

Running from 5PM to 8PM PT, the Amazon Music ’26 Lot Party transformed The Lot into a buzzing hub of music, culture, and innovation. Kitty Ca$h opened the night with a DJ set that set the vibe before Skepta stepped in with his Más Tiempo DJ set, turning Culver City into a full-on dance floor.

Midway through his set, Skepta surprised the crowd by dropping “Victory Lap,” his GRAMMY-nominated collaboration with Fred again.. and PlaqueBoyMax—notably the first track created live on Twitch to earn a Best Dance / Electronic Recording nomination. He also teased a never-before-heard track, “Aloe Vera,” from his upcoming album Fork & Knife, giving attendees an exclusive first listen.

The surprises didn’t stop there. As the night wound down, Akon and Ne-Yo took the stage for an unexpected performance, running through crowd-pleasers like “Miss Independent,” “I Wanna Love You,” and “Work Hard, Play Hard,” sending the Lot Party out on a major high.

The guest list was just as stacked, with appearances from Shaboozey, Tinashe, Benson Boone, HUNTR/X, Jhené Aiko, and Tiffany Haddish, alongside executives and industry tastemakers celebrating the start of GRAMMY Week.

Inside Studio 126, Amazon Music hosted immersive listening lounges spotlighting Amazon Music Originals and the platform’s newly announced Artists to Watch for 2026. Additional activations highlighted Alexa+ voice-powered music discovery, hands-on demos of Courtroom Chaos—the Snoop Dogg–driven, voice-controlled party game from Amazon Games Studios—and a screening room showcasing Amazon Music’s 2025 live and streaming content across Prime Video and Twitch.

Guests also got a sneak peek at Paul McCartney’s upcoming Man on the Run documentary and explored a merch showroom featuring exclusive tour drops and limited-edition pieces—rounding out a night that blended music, tech, and culture in true Amazon Music fashion.

With surprise performances, exclusive previews, and a stacked guest list, the Amazon Music ’26 Lot Party set the tone for an unforgettable GRAMMY Week in Los Angeles.
