by EAStaff | February 12, 2026

Apple TV unleashed the official Season 2 trailer for “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” teasing an even bigger, more dangerous chapter in Legendary’s expanding Monsterverse. The 10-episode second season premieres globally on Friday, February 27, 2026, with new episodes rolling out weekly through May 1.

Returning to the epic saga are Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett and Anders Holm, with new guest stars including Takehiro Hira, Amber Midthunder, Curtiss Cook, Cliff Curtis, Dominique Tipper and Camilo Jiménez Varón joining the action.

Season one followed two siblings uncovering their family’s connection to Monarch, the secretive organization monitoring Titan activity, while Army officer Lee Shaw — portrayed across timelines by Kurt and Wyatt Russell — became central to the unfolding mystery.

Season two raises the stakes with Monarch’s fate — and the world’s — hanging in the balance. The story returns to Kong’s Skull Island, brings back the unstoppable force of Godzilla, and introduces a brand-new threat: Titan X. Described as a living cataclysm, the massive bioluminescent Titan emerges from the ocean depths as an ancient force whose power and purpose remain shrouded in mystery.

Produced by Legendary Television and continuing Apple TV+’s multi-series partnership with Legendary, the series further expands the Monsterverse with even more stories on the horizon. Season one of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” is currently streaming globally on Apple TV+, setting the stage for what promises to be a seismic second chapter when Season 2 premieres February 27.
