Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan are going head-to-head in Apple TV’s new heist thriller 12 12 12.

Apple TV has unveiled the first look at the upcoming eight-episode drama, which puts a unique spin on the heist genre by telling its story across three different timelines: the 12 months leading up to the robbery, the 12 hours of the heist itself and the 12 days that follow.

At the center of the story are a disgraced FBI agent, played by Mackie, and an American career criminal, played by Dornan, locked in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse across Europe. Their paths converge around an ambitious raid on a bank vault buried deep beneath the streets of Zurich.

The newly released teaser offers the first glimpse at the pair on opposite sides of the operation as the series jumps between the planning, execution and fallout of the crime.

Mackie and Dornan also serve as executive producers on the series, marking an on-screen reunion for the actors after previously starring together in the 2019 sci-fi thriller Synchronic.

Joining them in the ensemble cast are Jack Kesy (12 Strong, Hellboy: The Crooked Man), Agathe Rousselle (Titane), Sallie Harmsen (Blade Runner 2049), José Garcia (Now You See Me) and Emmy nominee Kali Reis (True Detective: Night Country, Mercy).

12 12 12 is created and executive produced by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble. Emmy-nominated and BAFTA-winning filmmaker Kari Skogland directs multiple episodes, including the pilot, and serves as an executive producer. Skogland previously worked with Mackie on Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Dornan and Mackie executive produce alongside Samantha Corbin-Miller, David Knoller and Jason Spire for Inspire Entertainment. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content.

12 12 12 premieres globally Friday, November 13 on Apple TV with its first two episodes. New episodes will debut every Friday through December 25.
