Menudo Kicks Off 50th Anniversary Reunion Tour With Nostalgic Los Angeles Concert

Five decades of Menudomania came roaring back to life as Menudo kicked off its 50th Anniversary Reunion Tour on October 10 at YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, bringing together seven former members for a celebration of the legendary Puerto Rican group's music and legacy.
René Farrait, Roy Rosselló, Raymond Acevedo, Sergio Blass, Ralphy Rodríguez, Rubén Gómez and Robert Avellanet shared the stage under the Menudo name, representing different eras of the group that helped shape Latin pop and inspire generations of boy bands.
The concert introduced an all-new production built around a "Time Machine" concept, taking audiences through Menudo's history with music, choreography and immersive visuals celebrating the group's evolution over the decades.

The night opened with "Indianapolis," setting the tone for an evening filled with nostalgia and fan favorites. Songs including "Quiero Rock," "Fuego" and "Sabes a Chocolate" kept the audience singing along, while individual performances gave members a chance to revisit hits from their respective eras.
Highlights included Ralphy Rodríguez performing "Hold Me," Raymond Acevedo delivering "An Explosion" and René Farrait revisiting "Quiero Ser." The group also paid tribute to the 1980s with renditions of Miguel Mateos classics "Cuando Seas Grande" and "Mi Sombra en la Pared."
The celebration reached its finale with two of Menudo's most recognizable hits, "Claridad" and "Súbete a Mi Moto," bringing fans to their feet for a sing-along that captured the enduring appeal of the group's music.

Menudo Honored at YouTube Theater
Adding to the milestone celebration, Menudo was inducted into YouTube Theater's Wall of Icons, recognizing the group's contributions to music and entertainment.
The seven members were presented with a commemorative plaque honoring Menudo's legacy, from its international success and the rise of Menudomania to its influence on Latin pop and the modern boy band phenomenon.
The recognition marked another significant moment for a group whose music continues to resonate with audiences nearly five decades after its debut.
