Disney’s ‘Tron: Ares’ Shared Reality Screening
COSM Los Angeles was fully derezzed and rebuilt into the world of TRON for one night only as Walt Disney Studios celebrated the Digital release of TRON: Ares with an exclusive shared-reality immersive event on December 9. The venue underwent a stunning transformation, blurring the physical with the digital and inviting guests to step directly “into the Grid.”
Attendees entered an electric, high-stakes reimagining of the TRON universe, where the screening experience defied traditional moviegoing. COSM’s massive wraparound display surrounded viewers with the film’s striking visuals, making the event feel like a portal straight into the neon-lit frontier of the digital world.
One of the night’s biggest draws was the life-sized Lightcycle, showcased with meticulous detail and signature glowing accents. Fans circled the iconic vehicle for a closer look, marveling at the craftsmanship and scale that brought the TRON aesthetic fully into the real world.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed glowing signature cocktails, a dynamic light-up “grid” dance floor, an optical-illusion “In the Grid” photo booth, and other immersive elements that elevated the experience from a screening to a full-blown TRON activation.
The excitement around the event further cements TRON: Ares as one of the must-watch titles of the holiday season. The film is now available on Digital to buy or rent at home and arrives on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on January 6.
