‘The Rings of Power’ Season 3 Trailer Teases Sauron’s Rise and the One Ring
Middle-earth is on the brink of darkness. Prime Video has released the official trailer for Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, offering an epic new look at Sauron’s growing power, the forging of the One Ring, and the desperate battle to save Middle-earth ahead of the series’ November 11 premiere.
“All of it has come to this,” Galadriel declares in the new footage, setting the stage for a season where the fate of every kingdom hangs in the balance.
The trailer finds Elves, Dwarves, Númenóreans, and Wizards facing an increasingly powerful Sauron and his armies. His terrifying Nazgnagôl roam the lands in black armor, while the Elves struggle to defend their remaining strongholds. Deep within Khazad-dûm, family tensions threaten the Dwarves, and Númenor edges toward civil war. Meanwhile, Gandalf prepares to confront the spreading darkness in the eastern lands of Rhûn.
Five years after the fall of Eregion, Sauron’s forces have conquered much of Middle-earth. From his newly completed fortress of Barad-dûr, the Dark Lord works to forge the ultimate weapon: the One Ring, capable of bringing the remaining free peoples under his control.
With the Elven realms of Lindon and Rivendell protected by their Three Rings and the Dwarves isolated within their mountain halls, the remaining forces of Middle-earth must find a way to unite before Sauron’s victory becomes inevitable.
The upcoming season also introduces new characters, including Jamie Campbell Bower as Celeborn, Eddie Marsan as Thrain, Andrew Richardson as Anárion, and Zubin Varla as Khamûl the Easterling. Simon Pegg also joins the series as the voice of the Balrog.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3 premieres November 11 on Prime Video with four episodes. Two additional episodes arrive November 18, followed by the final two episodes on November 25.
