ANOTHER HIT! "PORQUE EL AMOR MANDA" WRITTEN BY AMERICA SIERRA IS THE THEME SONG OF THE NEW TELENOVELA OF THE SAME NAME WHICH DEBUTS TONIGHT ON UNIVISION 

She's living in her best moment yet. Her list of successes and awards grows constantly. América Sierra has become the most sought-after songwriter of the present. And now, alongside 3BallMTY, she adds her signature touches to their song "Porque El Amor Manda" (Because Love is in Charge).

This is the theme song of Televisa's telenovela of the same name, which debuts March 11 in the United States.

"Porque El Amor Manda" is also the first single of América Sierra's debut album, which officially launches the solo career of this SESAC Latina-affiliated composer.

Her accomplishments include winning a 2012 Billboard Mexican Music Award as a co-writer and featured performer on 3BallMTY's hit "Inténtalo" (Try It), and writing several other No. 1 sales and airplay hits.

Latin Power Music, her record label, announced that she is the writer of all of the songs on her debut album. In a statement, the label noted that América Sierra has been "a key player in the success of the Monterrey, Mexico, group 3BallMTY," who accompanies her with their distinctive style on "Porque El Amor Manda."

América Sierra describes this song as "very danceable; it's a representation of love in all its facets and how it can be shown in a completely natural way, without worrying about social conditions; it's a song that overwhelms you with different sensations and feelings."

"Porque El Amor Manda" was officially debuted at a special event recently in Monterrey, where América Sierra and 3BallMTY performed the song with the cast of Porque El Amor Manda in attendance. This novela is produced by the Mexican TV legend Juan Osorio.

Described by Latin Power Music as "today's most important singer and songwriter,"América Sierra has written songs made famous by La Arrolladora Banda El Limón ("Que No Me Vengas"), El Bebeto ("Quiero Que Seas Tú," "Corazón De Acero"), La Adictiva Banda San José de Mesillas ("No Es Tan Solo La Mitad") and Graciela Beltrán.

The single "Porque El Amor Manda" is on sale now and is distributed by UMLE (Universal Music Latin Entertainment).
