SUPERSONICO, the cutting-edge music festival that debuted last year with a sold out show is BACK. On October 3rd, SUPERSONICO will illuminate the historic Hollywood Palladium on multiple stages, featuring well known fan-favorites and underground gems from the Latin Alternative world and beyond. The festival will showcase some of the best of Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, Electronica and more, as well as provide tastes of local art, cuisine and crafts.

This year’s lineup features the return of Aterciopelados, and will also bear witness to one of Nortec Collective: Bostich and Fussible’s final shows,  welcome electronic style maker Mexican Institute of Sound,  Ximena Sariñana’s quirky and heartfelt jams, the energetic live show of Mariachi El Bronx, attitude-powered hip hop fromMala Rodriguez, haunting, introspective melodies from Hello Seahorse!, power and more power from Prayersand more surprises on the way.

Social media will once again play a huge part in spreading the word about this year’s festival. Last year, LA Weekly  said “Most people had heard about the show through word of mouth, or saw the buzz coming from their social media feeds.”

The second installment of SUPERSONICO is heading to the Hollywood Palladium, whose first performer was Frank Sinatra in October 1940. The beautiful theatre has hosted legends from Led Zeppelin to La Sonora Dinamita.  There will be multiple stages inside and out.

Pre Sale starts today at 11 AM via Ticketmaster and on sale starts this Saturday morning at 10 AM.  There are no fee tickets available every Saturday morning from 10 AM to noon at the Palladium box office and whenever a show is happening. Tickets also available at Amoeba. http://ticketmaster.com/Supersonico

SUPERSONICO is once again keeping tickets affordable by offering a pre-sale price of $49.50.

SUPERSONICO is presented by Cookman International, founders of the Latin Alternative Music Conference and Nacional Records, home to artists like Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Ana Tijoux, La Vida Boheme, and many more.
