‘Stranger Things 5’ Comes to Life at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights

The final chapter of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things is heading to Halloween Horror Nights this fall, as Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood bring the show's fifth and final season to life in all-new haunted houses.
Created in partnership with Netflix, the immersive experience will place guests directly into the events of the upcoming season as Hawkins faces its greatest threat yet. Fans will travel through some of the series’ most recognizable locations while encountering beloved characters and terrifying creatures from the Upside Down.
The haunted house begins as the barrier between Hawkins and the supernatural world continues to collapse, unleashing darkness across the town. Guests will journey through locations including the Wheeler House, Hawkins National Laboratory, the MAC-Z military base, the Upside Down, and the mysterious Abyss. Along the way, they will come face-to-face with Demogorgons, other horrifying creatures, and the series’ ultimate villain, Vecna.
The attraction marks another collaboration between Universal and Netflix following previous Stranger Things-themed experiences at Halloween Horror Nights. This new version promises to capture the scale and intensity of the show's final battle as the fate of Hawkins hangs in the balance.
Fans can also pick up exclusive new merchandise inspired by the haunted house, including a retro-style T-shirt, mug, and a collectible acrylic figure designed to fit into Universal’s Infernal Carnival display collection. Additional collectibles tied to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights lineup are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
Halloween Horror Nights begins August 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and September 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood, with the event running through November 1 on both coasts.
Fans eager to return to Hawkins should prepare for one final trip into the Upside Down—because this year, Vecna is waiting.
