I Play Rocky made its world premiere at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival on September 12 at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto.

Director Peter Farrelly was joined by stars Anthony Ippolito, Stephan James, Jay Duplass, Kiki Seto and P.J. Byrne to celebrate the film, which tells the true story of Sylvester Stallone’s determination to write and star in Rocky despite seemingly impossible odds.

I Play Rocky opens in select theaters November 6.
