Prince Royce, the Dominican American singer-songwriter who has achieved one of the most phenomenal career launches the Latin music industry has seen in years, achieved yet another milestone in his young career when he performed for an audience of more than 45,000, a sold-out crowd, at the historic Estadio Olimpico in Santo Domingo this past weekend as part of his "PHASE II Tour". Latin Urban duo Wisin & Yandel co-headlined the concert event.

“This accomplishment means so much to me because it happened here in the Dominican Republic. To see all of my people so full of energy and singing along with me was so incredible and for that I am extremely grateful”, expressed the 23 year old star, born and raised in New York to Dominican parents.

Joined by a 12 piece band, Royce performed all of his hits: “Stand By Me”, “Corazon Sin Cara”, “El Amor que Perdimos”, “Mi Ultima Carta”, “El Verdadero Amor Perdona” “Ven Conmigo”, “Las Cosas Pequeñas” and  “Incondicional” amongst others, mesmerizing the euphoric crowds who chanted to all of his songs along with him.

For two of his song performances, Royce invited some lucky fans up on stage to give them an unforgettable serenade which riled up the crowds even more. One of the girls lost control and knocked the artist down to the stage floor and proceeded to pin him down and hug him until security was able to contain the situation.

The “PHASE II Tour 2012” will make more than 25 stops in cities throughout the US beginning at the end of the month and will also visit numerous Latin American cities until the end of the year. As part of his highly-anticipated tour, Prince Royce will visit prestigious venues such as Radio City Music Hall in New York and the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles.
