Amazon MGM Studios has released the first official trailer for I Play Rocky, the upcoming biographical drama that tells the remarkable true story behind the making of one of cinema's most beloved classics. Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Peter Farrelly, the film arrives in select theaters on November 6 before expanding nationwide later in November.

Starring Anthony Ippolito as a young Sylvester Stallone, I Play Rocky follows the struggling actor and writer as he refuses to sell his screenplay for Rocky unless he is allowed to star in the lead role. Despite repeated rejection and enormous pressure to give up his dream, Stallone bets everything on himself—ultimately creating one of Hollywood's greatest underdog success stories.

The film also stars Matt Dillon, AnnaSophia Robb, Stephan James, P.J. Byrne, Toby Kebbell, Tracy Letts, Jay Duplass, and Kiki Seto.
