The World Boxing Counsil (CMB) paid tribute to world champion ex-boxing legend, Hector 'Macho' Camacho this past Wednesday December 5th during the council's 50th anniversary celebration in Mexico.

The president of CMB, Jose Sulaiman showed great respect to the family of the late Puerto Rican champion and to his great career as a boxer. The first belt that Macho ever won was given to his son Christian Camacho who stated, "My father was one of the greatest boxers, I can only hope to one day be like him."

"Macho" Camacho was a 10 time world champion boxer in 7 divisions. He is often remembered for the fight in which he knocked out Sugar Ray Leonard, and above all else for being one of the fastest boxers in history and a showman upon entering the ring.
