Telemundo Announces the Premiere of its New Primetime Telenovela, "La Patrona" (The Boss)

TELEMUNDO ANNOUNCES THE PREMIERE OF ITS NEW PRIMETIME TELENOVELA, “LA PATRONA” (THE BOSS), ON MONDAY, JANUARY 8 AT 9PM/8C, WITH TELENOVELA STARS ARACELY ARÁMBULA, JORGE LUIS PILA AND CHRISTIAN BACH

Viewers will Witness How Aracely Arámbula Transforms Physically and Emotionally Throughout this Great and Unforgettable Story

Telemundo’s most anticipated original production, “La Patrona” (The Boss), premieres Monday, January 8 at 9pm/8c, starring telenovela stars Aracely Arámbula, Jorge Luis Pila and Christian Bach. This unforgettable telenovela tells the story of Gabriela Suarez (Aracely Arámbula), the only woman working in a mine in a beautiful Mexican town called San Pedro del Oro. Due to unexpected circumstances in life, Gabriela meets Alejandro Beltrán (Jorge Luis Pila), the oldest son of Antonia Guerra (Christian Bach), better known as “La Patrona.” Gabriela will live a romance with Alejandro that several people will oppose to, including Antonia, who will become her number one enemy fighting both for her son’s love and to become “La Patrona.”

“La Patrona” features a star-studded cast including renowned Mexican actor Javier Díaz Dueña, in addition to young leading actors Gonzalo García Vivanco, Christian de la Campa and Manuel Balbi. The novela also features Erika de la Rosa, Joaquín Garrido, Aldo Gallardo, Alexandra de la Mora, Carlos Torres Torrija, Kenia Gascon, Alex Speitzer, Ennio Ricciardi, Bárbara Singer, Geraldine Zinat, José Luis Yeverino, Alisa Vélez, Tomas Goros, Francisco Vázquez, Mary Bravo, Mario Lora and Irineo Alvarez.

“La Patrona”, a Telemundo Studios original production written by Valentina Parraga and produced by Argos Television, is taped in beautiful locations in Mexico including authentic haciendas and mines in small towns such as Querétaro, Zacatecas, as well as in Estado de Mexico and Mexico City.
