Brace yourselves as Aurelio Casillas, brought to life once again by Mexican superstar Rafael Amaya, returns in a relentless pursuit of power and vengeance. Telemundo proudly announces the highly anticipated premiere of the ninth season of its International Emmy Award-winning franchise "El Señor de los Cielos" (The Lord of the Skies,) starting Tuesday, February 13 at 10pm/9c.

In this not-for-faint-of-heart season, fans will witness Aurelio Casillas unleashing the beast within him and reminding everyone of the ruthlessness that made him the infamous "Lord of the Skies." After the arrest of his son Ismael, Aurelio's wrath awakens and sets in motion a wave of violence across the country to seek revenge. The notorious drug lord will stop at nothing to reclaim his power and protect those he loves in this gritty new season.

The stellar cast also features Carmen Aub as Rutila Casillas, Ivan Arana as Ismael Casillas, Isabella Castillo as Diana Ahumada, Africa Zavala as Mercedes "Mecha" de la Cruz, and Robinson Diaz as Milton Jimenez "El Cabo." Joining this season is acclaimed Mexican actress Itati Cantoral as Belen San Roman, and Arturo Peniche with a special appearance.
