Xochitl Gomez Faces a Sinister Force in Tubi’s Horror Thriller ‘Hive’
Tubi is diving headfirst into horror with the first look at Hive, a chilling new thriller starring Xochitl Gomez and directed by Hispanic filmmaker Felipe Vargas. The film is set to premiere exclusively on April 17, 2026, and it’s already teasing a deeply unsettling ride.
Hive centers on a strict, anxious teen babysitter whose routine job takes a terrifying turn when the child she’s watching suddenly disappears. What begins as a search quickly spirals into something far more sinister, as she realizes a dark presence may be hiding in plain sight—among the children at a seemingly ordinary playground. As reality begins to blur, she’s forced to navigate a deceptive world where nothing is what it seems.
The film also stars Aaron Dominguez, alongside Zenobia Kloppers and Victoria Firsova, adding to the film’s tension-filled ensemble. Written and directed by Vargas, Hive leans into psychological horror, transforming everyday spaces into grounds for paranoia and fear.
From its eerie premise to its unsettling first-look imagery, Hive is shaping up to be a standout addition to Tubi’s growing horror lineup—one that taps into the fear of losing control in places that should feel safe.
