DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures have officially released the first full trailer for Supergirl, giving fans their biggest look yet at Milly Alcock’s debut as Kara Zor-El ahead of the film’s theatrical release on June 26, 2026.

Directed by Craig Gillespie from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira, Supergirl introduces a darker, more emotionally charged chapter for the iconic DC heroine. The trailer finds Kara on an epic interstellar journey after an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, pushing her toward a story of vengeance, justice, and self-discovery.

Alcock stars in the dual role of Supergirl/Kara Zor-El, bringing a more wounded and complex take on the character as she navigates grief, isolation, and her place in the universe. The footage teases sweeping cosmic action, emotional Kryptonian moments, and explosive battles across multiple worlds, while still keeping Kara’s personal journey at the center.

The trailer also offers fans a first look at Jason Momoa as Lobo, whose chaotic energy and larger-than-life presence immediately stand out. David Corenswet’s Superman also appears in the footage, further connecting Supergirl to the expanding DC Studios slate overseen by James Gunn and Peter Safran.
