Pluto TV Expands Free Streaming with Exclusive Series for Young Adults

Pluto TV is doubling down on the future of streaming—and doing it for free. The platform has expanded its lineup with a curated slate of fan-favorite series, bringing Hart of Dixie, Arrow, The 100, and Everwood to the service for the first time in the free streaming space, with most titles arriving May 1 and Everwood following on June 1.
The move is a strategic push aimed at Pluto TV’s fastest-growing audience: viewers ages 18–34. That demo has grown more than 30% over the past year, reflecting a broader trend as free streaming continues to surge, with 62% of U.S. households now watching ad-supported platforms monthly.
Rather than chasing constant new releases, Pluto TV is leaning into what younger audiences are actually watching—nostalgic, bingeable hits. According to research, library titles account for up to 65% of viewing among 18–34 audiences, with many Gen Z viewers gravitating toward older shows for comfort and familiarity. This new slate taps directly into that demand, offering more than 400 episodes of proven fan-favorite storytelling.

The expansion also carries major weight for U.S. Hispanic audiences. The addition of My Wife and Kids—currently available to stream for free only on Pluto TV—marks a meaningful play for multicultural viewers. For many Latino households, the series (“Mi esposa y mis hijos”) served as a crossover staple, echoing the family-driven humor and relatability seen in shows like George Lopez. With Hispanic audiences now accounting for nearly 56% of total U.S. streaming time, the move underscores Pluto TV’s growing focus on culturally resonant programming.
The series joins a strong lineup of beloved comedies already performing well on the platform, including Sister, Sister, The Parkers, The Game, and Moesha, all of which consistently rank among top titles for younger viewers.
Backed by Paramount’s expansive library—from Survivor to the CSI universe and iconic Nickelodeon hits—Pluto TV continues to build a free streaming experience that rivals paid platforms in both scale and familiarity. With global users up 67% year-over-year, the message is clear: audiences are embracing free streaming—and Pluto TV is meeting them exactly where they are.
All titles will be available to stream on Pluto TV across connected TVs and mobile devices at no cost, with no subscription required.
