‘Street Fighter’ Delivers a Knockout Trailer Launch Party at CinemaCon 2026

The energy of CinemaCon 2026 didn’t stop at the main stage. On April 15, Paramount Pictures brought Street Fighter to life with an exclusive trailer launch party at Caesars Palace, transforming the Victoria Room into a late-night celebration packed with immersive moments, cast appearances, and a first look at one of the year’s most anticipated video game adaptations.

Entertainment Affair was on-site for the invite-only Street Fighter Kickback, where press, exhibitors, and talent gathered for an early preview of the film before its global trailer debut. With themed activations woven throughout the space and a crowd ready for action, the event quickly set the tone for what would become one of CinemaCon’s standout off-stage moments.

The night doubled as a star-studded showcase. Noah Centineo (Ken Masters), Andrew Koji (Ryu), and Callina Liang (Chun-Li) led the charge, joined by David Dastmalchian (M. Bison) and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (Balrog), whose presence added an extra layer of crossover buzz. Director Kitao Sakurai also took the spotlight, introducing the cast and offering insight into the film’s bold, high-energy approach to the beloved Capcom franchise.

One of the evening’s most talked-about moments came from Vidyut Jammwal (Dhalsim), whose striking on-stage presence immediately captured attention and elevated the anticipation in the room just before the trailer reveal.

When the footage finally dropped, it delivered exactly what the CinemaCon crowd came for—stylized action, explosive fight choreography, and a tone that fully embraces the franchise’s legacy. Set in 1993, the story follows estranged fighters Ryu and Ken as they’re pulled into the World Warrior Tournament by Chun-Li, only to uncover a deeper conspiracy tied to the rise of M. Bison. Iconic moves like the Hadouken and Shoryuken earned audible reactions, signaling that the film is leaning all the way into fan-favorite elements.

Directed by Sakurai, Street Fighter appears to strike a balance between nostalgia and modern spectacle, blending chaotic energy with a self-aware tone that feels tailor-made for both longtime fans and a new generation of moviegoers.

By the end of the night, the message was clear: Paramount isn’t playing it safe. The Street Fighter Kickback delivered a full-scale experience that generated real buzz and positioned the film as a major contender in the growing wave of video game adaptations.

Street Fighter hits theaters October 16, 2026.
