‘MobLand’ Season 2 Trailer Unleashes More Blood and Chaos
Paramount+ is turning up the violence as MobLand prepares for its return.
The streamer has released the official trailer for Season 2 of the crime drama, giving fans a bloody first look at what's ahead when Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren return to the dangerous world of the Harrigan family. The new season premieres globally Friday, September 18 on Paramount+.
Hardy is back as Harry da Souza, the fiercely loyal and street-smart fixer tasked with keeping the Harrigans—and their criminal empire—from falling apart. That job isn't getting any easier.
Season 2 finds the Harrigans struggling to maintain a united front as new rivals threaten their already fractured organization. With tensions inside the family escalating and violence closing in from every direction, Harry is once again forced to navigate shifting loyalties while trying to keep everyone alive.
Brosnan and Mirren return as Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, the ruthless heads of the family, alongside Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones.
The official trailer suggests the series isn't holding back this time around, teasing a Harrigan empire increasingly at war with both its enemies and itself. Expect plenty of double-crosses, family dysfunction and, judging by the footage, considerably more bloodshed as Harry attempts to keep the chaos under control.
The 10-episode second season will roll out weekly on Fridays, culminating with the season finale on November 20.
