First-Ever Billboard Latin AMA Summit Comes to Los Angeles

Billboard announced a full day of programming to celebrate the artists, nominees and industry in the lead up to this year’s Latin American Music Awards. The awards show will be broadcast live on Telemundo from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California, on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 8pm/7c, preceded by the one-hour carpet pre-show “La Alfombra de Latin AMAs” at 7pm/6c.

The editorially-driven event series, which takes place on October 15 in Los Angeles at Neuehouse, will coincide with Billboard’s upcoming annual Latin Power Players print issue and will feature a daytime summit, cocktail reception and exclusive En Vivo concert. The events will feature top LatinX artists including BeckyG, Dalex, Eugenio Derbez, Farruko, Feid and Ozuna.

  • Billboard Latin AMA Afternoon Summit - Billboard’s VP, Latin Industry Lead Leila Cobo will host an afternoon of compelling discussions including a Latin Culture Roundtable, Exclusive Artist Roundtable and Q&A.
  • Billboard Power Players Cocktail Party - This invitation only event will celebrate top Latin music executives, feature an award presentation and give VIP guests the chance to enjoy delicious food and beverage prior to the evening’s exclusive En Vivo concert.
  • Billboard En Vivo Concert - Capping off the evening, Billboard will host an En Vivo concert featuring a special performance by an emerging LatinX musician. The event will give passionate fans the opportunity to see a chart-topping artist in an intimate setting.

"Our event will bring together top Latin musicians, executives, managers and industry leaders to share their stories and successes with each other and our community."

The events will be sponsored by founding partner Lexus, along with Cerveza Tecate and City National Bank. Tickets are available for purchase and attendees must register by going to the event website.
