Disney Entertainment Television once again delivered one of San Diego Comic-Con's most entertaining off-site experiences with the return of Hulu Animayhem: Fandom Fuel Up, an immersive activation celebrating Futurama and King of the Hill.

Held at Palm Trees Garden in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter from July 23–26, the activation invited fans to step inside the worlds of two beloved animated series through themed food, interactive environments, exclusive giveaways, and plenty of share-worthy photo opportunities.

At the center of the experience were two themed destinations. Planet Espresso, inspired by Futurama, served specialty beverages and treats including Leela's Lavender Latte and Dark Matter Donut Holes, while Robata Chane brought Bobby Hill's newest venture from King of the Hill to life with yakitori skewers, fried rice, and refreshing themed beverages.

Beyond the food, guests explored immersive environments filled with hidden Easter eggs, interactive displays, and photo opportunities inspired by memorable moments from both series. Throughout the activation, fans also had the chance to take home exclusive merchandise and limited-edition giveaways while supplies lasted.

Entertainment Affair had the opportunity to experience Hulu Animayhem firsthand, and the activation perfectly captured the humor and charm of both franchises. From the detailed set design to the themed menu items, every corner was packed with references longtime fans could appreciate. The experience also struck a nice balance between interactive moments and relaxed gathering spaces, making it an ideal stop amid the excitement of Comic-Con weekend.

As San Diego Comic-Con 2026 wrapped up, Hulu Animayhem once again proved why Disney Entertainment Television continues to produce some of the convention's most anticipated off-site activations. Blending immersive storytelling, themed dining, and fan-first experiences, it was a standout destination that animation fans won't soon forget.
