by EAStaff | June 7, 2026

DC Studios brought a piece of the cosmos to Los Angeles as the SUPERGIRL Intergalactic Station touched down at The Grove ahead of the film's highly anticipated theatrical debut on June 26.

The immersive fan activation kicked off with a special pre-reception and advance screening attended by stars Milly Alcock, Jason Momoa, and screenwriter Ana Nogueira. Guests explored themed displays, interactive experiences, and photo opportunities before gathering for a special introduction from the filmmakers and cast.

Before the screening began, Momoa took the stage to praise Alcock's performance and express his excitement about joining the DC Universe as Lobo. “I want to thank Warner Bros., DC, and James for allowing me to be in this universe,” Momoa told the crowd, adding that he was proud of Alcock and that “this movie rocks.” The actor also joked that he was finally getting to live out a childhood dream by appearing in her film.

Alcock thanked the audience for attending and shared her appreciation for the support surrounding the project. She told fans she hoped they would enjoy watching the movie as much as the cast and crew enjoyed making it, while also acknowledging the absence of director Craig Gillespie, who delivered a special video message for attendees before the screening.

Designed to celebrate the next chapter of the DC Universe, the Intergalactic Station transformed The Grove into a destination where fans could step into the world of Kara Zor-El while getting an early look at one of the summer's most anticipated releases.

Alcock stars as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl in the film, which follows the iconic heroine on an epic interstellar journey after a ruthless adversary strikes too close to home. The movie also marks the big-screen debut of Momoa's fan-favorite antihero Lobo, adding even more excitement for longtime DC fans.

Directed by Craig Gillespie from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira, Supergirl promises a blend of cosmic-scale action, emotional storytelling, and spectacular action as it continues to expand DC Studios' evolving cinematic universe.

Following the industry event, the SUPERGIRL Intergalactic Station opened to the public throughout the weekend, giving fans the opportunity to experience the activation firsthand and celebrate the arrival of the Girl of Steel.

Supergirl opens exclusively in theaters on June 26, 2026.
