‘Evil Dead Burn’ Cast and Filmmakers Gather with Fans at Los Angeles Event

Horror fans gathered at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills for a special fan event celebrating Evil Dead Burn, the latest chapter in the iconic horror franchise. Complete with immersive activations, a themed pre-reception, and appearances by the filmmakers and cast, the evening transformed the legendary venue into a Deadite playground ahead of the film's July 10 theatrical release.
Fans had plenty to explore throughout the venue, with immersive experiences inspired by the film's gruesome world. One of the most popular activations invited guests to pose as though they had fallen victim to a barrage of knives, while other themed displays and photo opportunities transformed the theater lobby into a fitting tribute to the franchise's signature blend of horror, gore, and dark humor. The experience offered attendees plenty of memorable moments before making their way into the auditorium for the advance screening.

The event welcomed franchise creator Sam Raimi, director Sébastien Vaniček, and stars Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan, and Luciane Buchanan, allowing fans to celebrate alongside the creative team behind the film. One of the evening's most memorable moments came when Yacoub was surprised with a birthday cake on stage. During the celebration, she shared that a visa issue had nearly prevented her from attending the event, making the warm reception from the audience all the more meaningful. Their presence added to the excitement as anticipation built inside the packed theater.
Directed by Vaniček, the film follows a grieving woman who seeks solace with her late husband's family at their secluded home, only to discover that an ancient evil has transformed the gathering into a horrifying fight for survival. The film continues the franchise's tradition of blending supernatural terror, outrageous practical gore, and dark humor while introducing a fresh story and unforgettable new Deadites.

The audience responded enthusiastically throughout the screening, reacting with gasps, laughter, and cheers as the film unleashed one brutal set piece after another. Evil Dead Burn is exactly the kind of relentless, blood-soaked nightmare horror fans have been hoping for, delivering outrageous practical gore, brutal Deadite carnage, and just enough twisted humor to remind us why this franchise continues to thrive. Director Sébastien Vaniček honors the spirit of Sam Raimi's iconic series while carving out a vicious identity of his own, anchored by a standout performance from Souheila Yacoub. It's poised to be one of the must-see horror films of the summer.
Evil Dead Burn opens exclusively in theaters on July 10.
