Vision is back—and he’s bringing Ultron with him.

Marvel Television gave D23 fans their first look at VisionQuest during Friday night’s Disney Entertainment Showcase at the Honda Center, with Paul Bettany and James Spader joining Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige onstage to debut the series’ first trailer.

The new Disney+ series premieres October 14 and serves as the final chapter in the trilogy that began with WandaVision in 2021 and continued with Agatha All Along in 2024.

VisionQuest picks up with Vision rebooted and in hiding after escaping those who sought to weaponize him. As he searches for a new sense of purpose, he turns to the AI personalities embedded within his programming—including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S. and, perhaps most dangerously, Ultron.

That quiet existence doesn’t last long.

A bounty placed on Vision’s head sends him on the run alongside Thomas Shepard, a mysterious young man who may be the reincarnation of Vision’s son. With enemies closing in, Vision must confront questions about his own identity while resisting Ultron’s influence and discovering the truth about his unexpected companion.

Bettany reprises his longtime MCU role as Vision, while Spader returns as Ultron more than a decade after first voicing the villain in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.

With Vision searching for his humanity, Ultron back in the picture and another potential member of the Maximoff family entering the MCU, VisionQuest looks ready to bring the story that started with WandaVision full circle.
